The Family Behind Oasis Green

For more than 30 years, I've been helping Arizona homeowners transform ordinary outdoor spaces into landscapes that are beautiful, functional, and designed for the way families actually live.

 

Our Story

My journey into landscaping began in the early 1990s, where I gained hands-on experience maintaining residential properties, managing commercial landscapes, and overseeing new construction projects throughout the Phoenix area. Those early years taught me far more than how to install plants or build hardscapes—they taught me how Arizona landscapes perform over time, which materials truly stand up to our desert climate, and how thoughtful design can completely change the way a family enjoys their home.

 

In 2006, my wife Tami and I founded Oasis Green with a simple goal: to create custom outdoor spaces that combine exceptional craftsmanship with personalized design. Nearly two decades later, we're proud to remain a family-owned landscape design and installation company based in Gilbert, serving homeowners throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

 

Designed for Arizona Living

While I focus on landscape design, project planning, and overseeing construction, Tami works behind the scenes to help guide our client experience, manage our marketing, and create educational resources that help homeowners make informed decisions about their outdoor spaces. Together, we've built Oasis Green around the belief that every homeowner deserves a landscape that's both beautiful and built to last.

 

Today, we specialize in custom front yard and backyard renovations, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, ramadas, fire features, paver patios and driveways, artificial turf, custom spas, landscape lighting, water features, and complete outdoor living environments designed specifically for Arizona.

 

While many landscape companies focus primarily on installation, we've always believed that exceptional projects begin with exceptional design. Every landscape starts by understanding how our clients want to live outdoors. Whether it's creating a resort-style backyard for entertaining, a low-maintenance front yard that enhances curb appeal, or a safe place where children and pets can play, every design is tailored specifically to the people who will enjoy it.

Details Matter

One thing clients quickly discover is that I'm naturally detail-oriented. I notice things many others overlook—from the way a walkway aligns with the front entry to the placement of landscape lighting, the balance of plant material, the proportions of a patio, or the finishing touches that bring an entire project together. I believe those details are what separate a good landscape from an exceptional one.

 

That same attention to detail extends beyond the design itself. I hold myself and every member of our team to high standards because I believe exceptional craftsmanship is built one detail at a time. My goal has never been to simply complete another project. My goal is to deliver an outdoor space that exceeds our clients' expectations and is something they're genuinely proud to come home to every day.

 

Over the years, we've designed and built everything from intimate courtyard renovations to complete luxury outdoor living environments. Every project has reinforced one lesson that has stayed with me throughout my career:  Beautiful landscapes aren't created by following trends—they're created by understanding the homeowner.

Every family uses their outdoor space differently, which is why no two Oasis Green projects are ever exactly alike. Our goal has never been to build the most landscapes—it's always been to build the right landscape for each family.

 

A Family Business

Although you'll work closely with me throughout the design and construction process, Oasis Green has always been a family business. Tami and I have built this company together, and we're both committed to treating every client's home with the same care, honesty, and respect we'd expect for our own. We understand that investing in your landscape is a significant decision, and we never take the trust our clients place in us for granted.

 

The majority of our business comes from referrals, and I believe that's a direct reflection of how we approach every project. We listen carefully, communicate honestly, pay close attention to every detail, and stand behind the quality of our work. Exceptional landscapes aren't defined by one dramatic feature—they're the result of hundreds of thoughtful decisions made throughout the design and construction process.
